Galaxy S4
Smartphone giant Samsung has launched its latest Galaxy series smartphone that is Galaxy S3 in May 2012 only, and such was the impact of this powerful phone that it took the mobile industry by storm. Galaxy S3 has been named as ‘Smartphone of the Year’ by several tech committees.
But as we all know, technology is ever-changing and we can’t dismiss the fact, that if a product wants to stay ahead in the mobile phones competition, it needs to constantly upgrade its features and provide users with new and more enticing features.

Expected Release
Speculations are rife that Samsung would announce Galaxy S4 in the 2013 January CES (Consumers Electronics Association) and the release is expected to be in the mid of 2013. Several reports have claimed that Samsung will be using the Mobile World Congress trade show, set to kick off at the end of February in Barcelona, as the launching pad for the Galaxy S4, and most probably an April release would be finalized.
But all these are mere speculations and nothing can be confirmed right now. And given the fact that Samsung both announced and released the Galaxy S3 in May, April seems like a distinct possibility at this point.

• Display
One of the most rumoured features of Galaxy S4 is its display. It is believed that S4 will have a brand new AMOLED display with full 1080p resolution and 441 pixels-per-inch. It would be a ‘Super LCD’ coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 2.
Also the screen is touted as unbreakable, but that seems to be a bit unbelievable. The screen would be 5 inches with multitouch capacity, which is an upgradation from the previous version that had a 4.8 inches display.
• Processor
The rumour is that the S4 will have a quad-core chip, which might sound a little 'last gen' to many. However, it will be based on ARM's A15 architecture, bringing with it a big boost in power for all those resource-intensive tasks we love to do all the time.
• Operating System
As known to the whole world, Samsung is an ‘Android Lover’. All their smartphones have Android versions as the underlying backbone. Since the latest stable version of OS is 4.2, therefore no doubt Galaxy S4 will also have Android OS, v4.2 (Jelly Bean).
One report suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will arrive with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie on board. It seems a little far-stretched, but because Android 5.0 is also rumoured to be announced by May-June 2013, if Samsung decides to launch the Galaxy S4 in May or June, it’s possible that it could have the latest software on board.
• Camera
One of the major improvements in Galaxy S4 would be its 13 MP camera, as compared to the 8MP camera in Galaxy S3. This, if true, would account to clearer, brighter and more realistic pictures.
• Battery
Going by the reports, Galaxy S4 will have the standard battery, Li-Ion, same as in the previous models, which can perform for approximately 11 long hours on single charging.
Final Verdict
Even though it is too early to come up with any sort of conclusion, but still, if Samsung Galaxy 4 will provide faster operational power, bright and radiant display, improved features and all such things at a comparable price, then the others brands would be left in a tight situation because for Samsung Galaxy, the name is enough for attracting consumers.
